The Oscars might have come and gone but i still plan to be glued to my TV screen because the next highlight of my week has to be the return of Gossip Girl. To capture the anticipation and excitement of one of my favourite CW programmes, i take an in-depth look into my favourite character played by Leighton Meester. Both on and off-screen, Leighton always manages to capture my attention, not because of her on-point depiction of Blair Waldorf or her latest singing duet with Robin Thicke for that Valentine’s day soundtrack, but because of her shoes. She was spotted this week wearing a bandage Hervé Léger dress but the real attention-grabber were those laced-up peep toe boots. But for her headbands, lately it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between Blair Waldorf and Leighton Meester’s style.  Her love for Christian Louboutin and Brian Atwood shoes goes beyond the GG set and onto events and even the red carpet.

There was also the MTV movie awards where she was spotted in a Brian Atwood purple ankle boots and then in a bandage style Christian Louboutin boots en route to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
