With London Fashion Week imminent, Leona Lewis was flying the flag for eccentric British fashion this week by showcasing some daring attire from the hottest Brit designers. Attending a party hosted by the Spanish edition of Harper’s Bazaar at Casino de Madrid in Spain on Wednesday night, the starlet pushed the boundaries of bat wing in this black Stella McCartney wing dress. The dress is from Stella’s Pre Fall 2010 collection. It’s a whole new take on the LBD and the look was complete with hair styled into a halo. We’re used to seeing Leona looking more demure but her stylist is keen to show us that Leona can compete on and off the red carpet.
At the Brit Awards earlier this week, Leona also wowed in a silver futuristic dress by William Tempest, showing us yet again, that she can pull of a fierce style. The look was complete with pink court shoes (a platform heel might have worked better though), studded cuff and slicked-back hair. The singer lost out to Lily Allen for Best Female Solo Artist but she’s won by miles in this Tempest ensemble. This is hoping it’s not a fluke and we get to see more of Leona’s new and edgy style.
