In a case of the time-honoured battle between beauty and youth, actress Julianne Moore, who turned 49 last week, has been spotted in the same dress as 25-year-old model/DJ Leigh Lezark. This Viktor and Rolf Spring 2010 dress is not the sort that just anyone can pull off, with it’s loose fit and bottom-heavy silhouette. Having said that, it’s not as extreme as some of the crazy contraptions the Dutch designers come up with – if you’ve never looked through their catwalk, back track to this holey dress on Katie Perry to get our point.

It’s clear today’s contestants were dressing for the weather when they were snapped. Attending a party at the Art Basel fair (hosted by Viktor and Rolf themselves) in tropical Miami, Leigh upped the quirk factor of her outfit with clashing purple stilettos. Julianne, meanwhile, was braced for December in New York with black tights and classic black court shoes,at the red carpet premiere of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

Perhaps it is unfair to pit the two together given the age difference. But you agree with me that between this two, one definitely understood the point of this outfit and worked the magic, however i refuse to influence your decision as i am keen to know what you think.
