In fashion, sometimes there are the do’s and dont’s, then at other times there are the fashion ‘no,nos’ and at the VEVO event in New York, Lady gaga definitely committed the major fashion faux pas of the week. Sporting this gorgeous dove grey strapless dress, with swirling organza, she would have looked elegant if only we weren’t temporarily blinded by the sight of her sagging cleavage. One would think that with all the fashion resources at her disposal, Lady Gaga would have easy access to a cleavage enhancer. What a shame because the bad taste definitely defeated the core purpose intended for this piece by the creative duo behind the collection – Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli-one of romantic elegance. Regardless, i was still able to recognize the elegant grey colour from the catwalk, more so when i also spotted this Valentino dress on Rachel Weisz.
Attending the LA premiere of ‘The Lovely Bones’, Rachel looked gracious in this similar colour Valentino strapless dress which she accesorized with bright red lipstick, strapless heels and matching clutch. A safe red carpet choice, you might say but at least there was no sagging cleavage situation.
I am so in love with this colour right now but unfortunately it seems to be a spring colour so you will have to wait till early next year to bag either of these Valentino dresses. And as for Lady Gaga, we love your new look i.e. less make up plus bow on the head, now help us love you more . Next time you wear this dress, take a cue from this model and cover up.

That model was probably able to cover up so well because it seems very few catwalk models actually HAVE any cleavage … hence, pretty easy to hide.
